So I went to this chop owned by an 86 yr old Sonny Angel. He told me he's selling all his bikes and closing down after due to his wife diying a couple of months ago. Well in 1975 he ordered a 1975 Norton Commando 850 and put it away for safe keeping, It's still there today! No miles or even never seen the day light! I'm going back tommorrow and hopefully he took it out to take some pictures! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!!

Bring cash and lots of good luck! I'm sorry for him though.

Wow.Neat story, but it seems like an absolute waste of a perfectly good motorcycle. That's worse than the guys who restore them, then hang them on the wall to stare at

that's like discovering gold.
accept better, because you don't have to trade it in for cash to buy a bike, It's already a bike.

Why do you think he told you about it?
When you get old you will understand.
When you are that age and you know you could die you start trying to find some younger guy who might
want your bike or car and he hopes you would like it and want to take care of it .
He does not want it to end up in the hands of the state.
Get it.

Sold for $24,000. Not a bad price. Hope it gets ridden or at least put on display somewhere.
"86yr old motorcycle mechanic lists 0 mile 1975 Norton Commando on eBay, still in crate! The bike fetched $24,000USD and came with Certificate of Origin from Norton motorcycles as it was never registered".There were eleven Nortons found new-in-crates a couple of years ago in Belgium. They also sold for $21,000 to $23,000.

I went this morning to Sonny's shop and talk with him. I asked if I could record and and have him show and tell some of his stories. He was very happy and agreed with me, he did't even give me a chance to turn on the camera lol as he started telling me everything right away! I must say, it got a little emotional at times and was hard to keep the camera still as I was seen it in his eye's. This guy been around the world and back, racing at Man of isle in the 60's, hanging out with Burt Monroe, ect! I'm very glad I met up and hung out with him, I even forgot about the Commando and just focused on him as he was the story and not the bike. I'm going to edit the video tonight to share the awsome stories he told had to share.

You could have a really good documentary starting there.
