Ohio 750 gathering

dave Esch
Hey all. I was curious if there are ever any gatherings of us enthusiasts. I went to a vintage bike night here in Ohio last year and there were two other CB750's besides mine. I figured I would either inquire, or perhaps organize, a get together. I am located in NE Ohio about 25 minutes east of Cleveland. If anyone is interested in a little 750 fellowship, let me know.

There is a weekly vintage bike night at Steak and Shake in Willoughby, OH, I think very near to you.  Here is the CL post:  http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/1672931173.html

I have a 72 750, running last summer, still in several parts I hope to have it running by the up coming crappy weekend, I haven't attended but I hear it's a good meet up!

I live on the West Side and would love to an all CB750 meet up!

If you Ohioans get together, my best to you all.  I travel for a living, and it'd be tough to get to Cleveland without a lot of advance notice.  I'd have to make sure the bike would make it up and back as well.

Maybe something in the central Ohio area?  I'm positive there would be plenty of places to have a meet.

Jealously,

I'm in SE Michigan and I would come to OH for a gathering of 750's. It would be nice to put faces and bikes to the names.

I have run into 3 other bikes on a regular basis. One of them is pretty nice. A candy maroon color with an HID headlight kit. I run into them at bike nights and most recently on the Louie Run. I have been to the Steak and Shake vintage bike night in Willoughby and was seriously unimpressed. Not th quality, but the quantity of bikes that attended. Including myself and two of my friends, there were maybe a dozen bikes there. I have heard it gets pretty busy though but am yet to witness this for myself. As far as a central Ohio meet, I would need to decline that option. After about two hours on my bike my body is ready for burial. I think I need to invest in some rear bouncers because I feel every pebble in the road. I think this Wednesday I will try to make it to Steak n Shake though.
