I use it at the machine shop I work at for holding dowel pins,bearings,sleeves,etc-,that are installed without a press fit.

Just put a drop of enamel paint on the threads, and screw it in. Does not have to be overly tight, just a tad past snug will do it.

Yep! 1/4'' pipe plug. I've been using brass fittings in aluminum car heads for years. I dont know why I let it even bother me this go around. Thanks for all you guys help.
