Oil in generator cover

HI all!
I'm a noob here and noob at mechanics too......
Also, i usually speak french so i hope you'll be tolerant regarding my vocabulary!!! ;)

To be short....i've started a restoration project with a cb 750 k6.
It' been stored for almost 12 years now and it's pretty messed up!

I took off the generator cover and there was oil in there.....is it normal?
If no, is there a seal to be changed?
anybody knows how??

Welcome!  Yes,it is normal for oil to be in there. Not a problem. Alot of us here are from America, and must of us have poor english...you'll fit right in
