replacement headlight or anotehr idea

FastCletus
my bikes headlight was crashed and mangled when I bought it. I got a new nice chrome headlight, but it didnt come with alight and or a retaining ring.  I am having a hell of a time trying to find a bulb and ring.
Are these just too hard to find? If so is there another headlight idea that works?

I got a headlight from cycle -X that is very nice. Large diameter.
I do not know if it will hold all those wires though.
The CB750 headlight bucket hides a lot of wires.

Bought my bulb from Wally World
                                                 Sylvania high pro.   H6024
There top of the line but works great has A  "T" type brightness (center line bright N horizion line bright)makes all the others seem why the heck they bother with making them if they came out with this .
Yes it goes to a car/truck but fits. If you can't find a ring you havn't looked hard enough yet(sorry but true).

I've got 3 different light set-ups for my bike ,5 3/4" chrome bucket type, 750 H4 C,and this witch is in my faring....Good luck.

There are after-market buckets available.

As to wires, just put them in a bundle, zip-tie them together.  Then wrap the bundle in some inexpensive vinyl square purchased from a fabric store, and zip-tie the vinyl pocket/bag shut, with the opening pointing down, so any water will drain out.  Craig Vetter did this with his Windjammer fairings:  they came with a draw-string vinyl pouch to hold the wires, with the opening down, as discussed already.  I copied the principal with my 440LTD bike:  I purchased a used QuickSilver fairing for it, but the vinyl bag was missing -- wrapped the wires in a piece of vinyl, and it worked perfectly.  Cheers!

Thanks All
I couldnt find the actual headlight on vintage cb750 just the bulb.  with that being saiud a different sdearch on ebay proved promising as they are plenty of rings and headlight assembly unit's out there.  My problem is now I dont  know which to buy.  My headlight bucket is 7 3/4 inches wide.  I dont know where my front end came from cb 750 cb 900 C or F dont know.  Can anyone tell me what model to look for to to make sure I get the right assembly?

That is what I do but I wrap mine in one of those tube sleeves you can buy that is a pad for your seat belt that has a velcro closure. They come in black and other colors.

On one bike I used a piece of black rubber from the old inner
tube, with zip ties and hid it behind the headlight.

If you can get a headlight assy from a 2004 Kawasaki 1500 classic.
A great  headlight ! It does not stick out so far like a lot of
these new bikes where the headlight looks like a freight train.
