Add me to the list- same old story. CC charged, no parts, nobody answers the phone. I call the number and randomly punch in extensions until I get someone who assures me I will have my parts soon. The parts finally come (6 weeks late) and while Im sure they would work on somebody's bike they werent for mine. I got the RMA and sent them back. No refund. I call and am promised a check will be arriving in no time. That was weeks ago, no check. The sob story about computer problems and how busy they all are ripping off fellow bikers (if they are bikers at all) doesnt wash. Im filing complaints with the AG and the BBB (as if OBB gives a rats ass about a BBB rating). Theft is theft, no matter how many excuses are thrown out.

"Yes as I mentioned above we had a problem with our credit card processor and that compounded matters, its there in black and my white my friend I’m not saying just the site and the phones caused the problem… how about you call me the president of the company directly and I can answer your questions. Also why not try our new services before passing judgment; you don’t have to buy anything to see if what I say is true. Your damaging the reputation of a hard working decorated veteran without ever having spoken to him, If you card was charged and we didn’t get your money we can help you get it back but you have to call us... customers sometimes don’t understand the money does not go directly from visa or master card to us there are third party banks and processors along the way. Again I want to personally speak with any one having and issue; now that I have the measures in place to take care of the situation properly. " thebear
Sir, do you really know what is going on with your business? It sounds so unbelievable, it almost defies reason!
You blame it on the credit card companies, on the phone system, on websites, on software, etc. How about the lots of us that were charged on our credit cards, and were told by OBB that the money never made it to your accounts, what kind of bull crap is that. Why don't you address that issue if you are so respectable as you pretend to be?
You are a veteran and that is great, so am I, I still have no parts for my bike veteran or not, and I am out of $169.38, which to this day you people won't refund back to me.
Your reputation is being damaged by no one else but yourself. If you want to repair your reputation, then why don't you go to your brother or whomever runs your place “Mr President” and ask him for all the records of customers whom you failed to send parts and stole money from?
Don't come here and tell me all this stories. Take action as a true businessman and take control and run your business properly and honorably as a true veteran.
You say that you can help us get our money back, Please!............. Do you think we are totally stupid? Are you serious? Are you trying to make us believe that all of us whom got stiffed on our credit cards that the third party banks and processor made all the mistakes and that OBB did not take the money, I don't believe your explanations for a minute Mr. President!
P.S. I am willing to come here and tell everyone that you have done right by me if you refund my $169.38, or send my parts, otherwise it will keep on coming at you hot and heavy!

Folks, These guys are amazing! I found another wonderful resource for these guys, the Federal Mail Order Rule: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/business/adv/bus02.shtmand: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/cmplanding.shtm"Your complaints can help us detect patterns of wrong-doing, and lead to investigations and prosecutions. The FTC enters all complaints it receives into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database that is used by thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints."
Enforcement: "Merchants who violate the Rule can be sued by the FTC for injunctive relief, monetary civil penalties of up to $16,000 per violation (any time during the five years preceding the filing of the complaint), and consumer redress (any time during the three years preceding the filing of the complaint). When the mails are involved, the Postal Service also has authority to take action for problems such as non-delivery. State law enforcement agencies can take action for violating state consumer protection laws.
"
Good Luck all!

Hey , Bear , if you're still monitoring this thread , here's a phone number for you . -- 1-800-683-2289 -- It's for a place called N.P.C. , which processes credit cards for businesses . -- I've used them for the past 20 years and have NEVER had to wait more than 4 days for my money from any credit card transaction . -- As for your military service , I thank you , and wish you the best of luck . It sounds like you need it .

Oh come on guys, I've ordered from Old Bike Barn multiple parts the past six months, and my experience has only be positive. I used the Chatroom to find out if parts were available, (they were). Service was prompt, and polite. Give these guys a break. It seems that they have shaped up and resolved the issues.
Ride on!

Wow, I almost went with this company for my points and thought I was running into a prob with the one that I did go with. They turned out to be slow but I got my parts. Bike bandit is supposed to be great, though!
