Re: Oops I did it again!!

Payments on its way!  I'm thinking some jbweld should fix her right up, just need the time to do it now!  Getting close on this one, had to order a jet kit now because of the exhaust, running very rich now, ran just fine with the stock exhaust.  Oh well another week and she should be ready!

Well I decided against JBweld to try and fix the crack on the headlight bucket, and went with fiberglass instead.  Did it up last night, we'll see tonight if she will hold!  Thanks again tools!

Re: Oops I did it again!!

Well its been awhile since I have updated this thread.  Alot of work done on the bike, and I decided to redo my exhaust so that took a little time.  It fires up and runs great till about 50-55mph, at WOT I bogg way out and start losing power. Im good at all other throttle positions, so I upped my jets per the kit instructions and will road test her today after I get the freshly wrapped exhaust headers remounted.  Here is what I have all finished up, just need to remount the exhaust and road test her!  Let the tweaking continue lolTank decalssidecover emblemsmy motto lol.LED turn signals and nightrider brake lightboth sides worknew exhaust design, stock crossover with tips welded on.mounted to the bike, just need my headers on!

Nice work becomingcompetentI think I might have to steal your signal and brake light idea soon as I pry my wallet open and order up some parts.

Thanks Shiny, she is almost done, a little more tweaking and hopefully she will be ready to go!  Thanks Easy, I really like the back end, I stole the brake light from a buddy who happens to be doing a cafe on the exact same year, model and everything bike.  Its a nightrider light led, and the turn signals are amber 3led pod lights, that actually put side by side completely filled the frame in where I cut it off, so to me I think it looks pretty good!  Almost done, the next few days in the garage should hopefully button her up!  Shiny, hope your trip was good, Ive had a great week that just keeps getting better!

Yessir!  Total money spent on the back end was around 30 bucks, so not that bad lol!  The brake light does the whole nightrider thing in running light mode, then when I hit the brakes its flashes for 5 seconds before coming on steady, very bright, and very noticeable, cant be too careful these days!  Not sure its street legal, but pretty sure I dont care!
