Please help me identify my bike

wbradshaw6
Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, new to Cb750s, and my first time posting. I just purchased a CB750 and absolutely love it! I am trying to figure out if it is an F or a K and am having some serious difficulty. The bike has been restored and the guy I bought it from did not know what it is. On the forks there is a number (CB7502410756) and on the engine there is another number (CB750E-2506871). Like I said the bike has been restored so I am not sure what all is still original and what has been pieced together from other bikes. I do know that their is an 836cc big bore kit installed, but besides that I am in the dark about the bike. Any help that y'all can give would be awesome!

1stly let me just say...it is a beautiful bike! 2nd, you've come to the right place- these guys will help you out...in the meantime i found this site http://www.motorera.com/honda/h0750/four.htm that says your engine was from 1975 CB750K5, and i think the bike serial #is 1974 CB750K4 , but i am no expert...someone will correct me if not

Your frame is a 1974 K-4, and your engine is a 1976 K-6. Beautiful bike, but I would not consider it restored. It is highly customized! Most of the mods will jump right out like the paint, and exhaust. However the rear wheel is a 16 inch, and it looks like it has a later swingarm to accommodate the later model cush drive necessary to use the 76 K-6 engine.
