Hi guys, are these anygood?

http://global.ebay.com/RICKS-VOLTAGE-REGULATOR-RECTIFIER-HONDA-CB750-FK-79-82-RICKS/230793960107/item

Or can you recommend any other ones that ship international?

Got a regulator on thats not really made for the bike... and its giving me charging probs,

also those super high voltage coils I see online, they any good?

Oh and if your selling a fairly new regulator, or some iridium plugs, feel free to pm me ;)

Not familiar with this seller, or his products; he has very good feedback scores.  He states that they are OEM spec.'ed, meaning that they are the same quality.  His prices are decent, at first glance.  However...

Here is a fellow who makes his own, but his products are over-engineered, exceeding OEM spec's.  I guess I would go with these uber-parts, but my OEM's are still working fine.  Some of the other posters on this site, have used this fellow's stuff, and recommended them in other threads.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best.  Cheers!

Much appreciated

I have had a look at these uber parts, but my main concern for now is immediate reliability and quality... for a decent price, so i recon a OEM spec was good enough to last twenty od years, so a new one should do the same...

I'm heading over to the local hardware store this morning to get a multimeter and check what the heck is going on with my bikes electrics... The current regulator/ rectifier is a piece of junk, and not working, It seems that when i really push the bike on the freeway the regulator packs up, but I'm not really even pushing it.... and then my bike starts acting up on high revs, as if the regulator is not sending enough juice to the coils or something, anyway, learning experience awaits me....

Oh just one thing, are these uber parts suitable for the DOHC models? I emailed the guy from http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/Reg_rec_units.html but no reply as of yet....

Ride safe!

Yes, he makes both styles:  SOHC, and DOHC types.  Cheers!

Okay so following some advice rich gave me on another thread...

I have now determined that my AC generator is still functioning as it should giving me a ohm reading of 5+, since it should be above 4 to still be good, i'd rate thats great :D...

Using the multimeter I found that the bike is not charging at all, like even at 5000rpm the voltage reading was 12.05 or around there...

Removed the regulator and checked for any open circuits, and yes there are... whole thing is blown...
