You must have a break or something that has been filled in by crud and the Seafoam is cleaning it out.  I've used it on everything from bikes to boats to diesel trucks and never had anything but good results.  You might want to check your seals and gaskits
It's only illegal if you get caught.

Yeah I can't say I have ever had seafoam cause anything to leak unless it cleaned crud that was preventing the leak.
I would look at your float needles.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

SeaFoam dissolves varnish, so I would guess that it did its job on your carbs.  I would recommend a thorough cleaning, possibly rebuilding them.  SeaFoam does many things, but it does not cause leaks in carbs.  Cheers!

The float bowl?
The overflow? Where?
