They are great! They make a points ignition run like an electronic ignition.

I've got them in my 1974 K model with Dyna ignition, and they run so well, I can "lug" the engine at a much lower RPM than I should, for hours at a time, as I cruise downtown and on other slow speed cruise nights. I've lugged the engine for over three hours and it still idled like it does after a long high RPM cruise.

Everyone says this bike doesn't like the low revs, and to keep it out of slow traffic, but I have maybe half of the 2500 miles I've put on it being driven under those conditions without any problems. It doesn't overheat (probably due to the excellent tuning of my local shop) and the plugs have never fouled. :)

Check to see if they are compatible with the stock plug.
Just because they are in stock does not mean they are correct.

Yeah, cruise night. Our local old motorcycle club...Vintage Iron, is starting to get things going in my area for bikes older than 25 years old. Only 3 riders on the last cruise, but hey, there was NO old bike scene here for years, so that's a start anyway. We talk at the monthly show (last Saturday of every month) about where to ride, when to ride, etc. The Cruises are only planned out a week ahead of time, so we can check the weather forecast. So, if you have an old bike, the people that ride them are finally coming together! (it used to be, if you wanted to ride with a group, you had to ride a harley, or a sport bike.)

Not trying to rain on anybody's parade, since everyone seems to have fantastic luck with these plugs, but they didn't do well in my '76 F at all. It has stock coils and a Martek ignition. It would hardly idle. Strange, but true.

I've got somewhere around 13k miles on a set of standard NGK's and it's still running strong. No complaints on the cheapies from me.
