We had a light snow come thru the Ozarks started about 3 am and still light snow
when i left at 6 am (to work). About 2 blk's north I cross some tracks and make a hair pin left back along the track (blk.top road) just a stupid way they did it,
Any how as I approached the tracks I'm thinking slick of course , tap the rear brake (nothing)So hit it harder and held as I slid down the (tracks build up on higher ground) the other side 50 feet or so with my boots dragging , I then kinda walked and turned bike around , now facing that stupid road I slid passed I needed (was meant/build to hit at this direction). As I ride thru about blocks of reg.neighborhood slowing only for stop sign that I road thru I gas it a few times to check for traction
(not to bad)The road has a good dusting,Grass and cars have a good inch or more.As I only slow for 2 more stop signs(open area their 15-20 feet apart)road just made real stupid "as said ",I jump onto main co.hwy.45 m.p.h.,no prob road was warmer no snow (but still falling).Once out of town 60 m.p.h. brought up speed but left in 4th while holding about 60,I don't know if it was my confidants or the lack of Snow on ground brought the speed to 70+but slowing for few creek bridges .
This is my story for the day
Made it safe n sound but very STUPID ,I told my supervisor I would be there to make sure the
work got done "My word is still Good"
