Several Misc questions about Rebuild

Nightviper19
I am sorry to post up again with questions, but I have used the google machine for hours with no avail. In my other post, I stated that I just got a 76 CB750 and I had a compression issue. I got all that fun stuff worked out,  but now Im down to the annoying part of putting everything back together. I didnt take the bike apart, I just got it in a bunch of boxes, so thats where most of my problem is.  Here we go:

I am missing many bolts off this bike. Various bolts, like the ones that holes the rear fender to the frame, the triple tree clamp bolts, etc. Is there a guide that shows the bolt pattern and length? If not, Im half tempted to wheel my bike into Lowes and just start trying stuff.

Also, the cable and wire routing is throwing me for a loop. When I take the double throttle cable to the carbs, I have alot hanging off the bike, like its supposed to loop around somewhere. The wiring cable diagram doesnt help a whole lot, but gives me the general idea.

Also, Im missing the front brake fluid "connector" that connects the front brake fluid lines. Know where I can get one of those?

Lastly, there are two long rubber hoses that came in one of the boxes. I believe one of them from the valve cover, but to where, what what about the other one?

Thanks in advance. This is really getting frustrating, since the guy that took the bike apart doesnt remember how he did it, and provides little help.

Your best bet is to get a honda shop manual. You can get them on ebay but you can also find them online for free. not to detract from this site but it is a very light weight site with no stickies and no place to put an FAQ section. So go here    forum.sohc4.net
You can join and then should be able to find the manual for free as well as color wiring diagrams.

I go to both but I try to post as much here as possible. The other site is very large and as to be expected, you will run into some that "know it all" but most are very helpful. I have the manual for the 78 but it is about 30 megs in size and so not email friendly. But you can download the year you need there.

I do have the Honda shop manual, and I found plenty of wiring diagrams, but Im talking about the wire routing on the bike. It seems like if I do it the way the book shows, I dont have enough wire to get to the other parts at the rear of the bike.

Is the wire harness gone? If you still have it, either use it or retrace the path. otherwise a new harness is the way to go. Yes you can do the wiring your self but it is going to be very difficult. a new harness will run around $80 but might be worth the headaches.
