Last question
Is there any way  to check/ clean the slow jets  on my 71 CB  750 K 1 without taking the carbs off the bike.
Just hoping.....
Thanks

Yes. The bowls come off just by popping the clips to the front. You can get at the jets with a stubby screwdriver pretty easy. Just be real careful. The pilots are really fragile and you can break one pretty easy. Just make sure you have your screwdriver lined up good and that it fits the jet good. Thats how I do mine.

IF you had the carbs with float bowls attached with screws
you would have had to completely remove the carbs.

Oh boy
Now I did it
I was told to be careful.
I was
I broke the slow jet
Now I will have to take a carbs off.
Besides fixing this problem what else should I do while the carbs are off.
I am about a 7.5 mechanic (out of 10)
Can I repair this myself?
Thanks

One final question of the day .....
Can you guys recommend a vender for carb parts.
Will my Honda dealer have a jet?

Dealer has nothing, does not care, the sky is not the limit for parts at the dealer.

For that jet you need I would go to Jets -R -Us.

VintageCb750 has alot of parts. Sometimes they are out of stock, though. The jets for these carbs fit several other bikes that used these same carbs. You dealer should be able to get your jets no problem. I have 3 size 40 piolt jets if that is what you need.

I feel guilty that you broke a jet. I'm the jerk that told you to do it that wayThey are soooo fragile

I did get 2 done .....broke the 3rd ..not your fault at all...wow are they fragile.
I have clymers and the Honda service manual and the guys on YouTube.
I ordered the part from my dealer and I'm going to fix it.  I hate to bring it to the dealer for anything.  They just charge outrageous prices.
I hope I can get the threaded part out of the carb body.  I don't think they make an "easy out" that small.
How about an ultra small drill bit and try drilling in reverse?  Until I get into it I'm not sure what a problem I'll have getting the broken piece out.
Like I said....not your fault
Thanks
