Spark Plug Question

cbRider
1981 CB750F Super Sport (Twin Cam)
The Clymer Book calls for NGK D8EA, in the bike I find NGK DR8ES-L
The ES in the latter plug means extended heat range, which wouldn’t be a bad thing but the -L adds another half a heat range.
What plug are yall using?

Thanks,
Karl

Those should be fine.  You (in a nut shell) simply have the resistor version.

This is a great table.

I run the DR9ES.  Resistor doesn't hurt, can help with nearby electronics (intercom, etc).  Could care less about "S" vs "A" electrode.  If I were to care about that I'd step up to the EIX fine wire platinums.  They are just simply easier to find than the A ones.  I like the one step colder for air-cooled motors especially, and I've never had any founling issues.  Your -L ones are probably perfect heat range....Didn't know about those!
