Starter Help

I have a prob. maybe more than I think. Ok so I knew I was going to need a new battery but wanted to wait  till spring to get one . So two days ago I was about to run to the shop and get one but I wanted to start the bike up to warm it up and I  couldnt start the bike up so I grabed the changer and with changer on I tried to starting it but I got really slow starter sounds and it got slower and slower .So I put the changer to max start and still the same. I tried to jump it from the solenoid and nothing better slow starter soumd and sometimes just a click. the next day  I took out the started and with doing so I broke both bolts but got it out . Lucky I was able to get the bolts out . I tested to starter with a battery changer and it sound fine. But I when to the recyle bike parts and talked to the guy and he tested it the same as I did and test two used ones and they sound the same . He said put mine back in and take out the plugs and see if Its sound the same so I did and it did try the start up easier or it just sound better??  Then I add the plugs one by one and with each one It sounds slower and slower. Its just like if the battery getting dead. But Ive tried a fully changed battery and a battery changer. Can someone give a some idea's  .. This bike is robbing me each day . I hoping its not the motor !!!!

Absolutely no idea why it's not turning over at full speed, but sounds like it slows down because its getting compression.

                 I'd do what I could to get the engine to turn,I don't think you have a kick.
                    do you have a center stand turn the tire
                                                  pull the plugs

Check you battery cabels. Also some times they will turn green inside the insulation.

I tryed to use a battery changer on the starter wire to start it and that didn't help. I tryed with center stand on and turn the back wheel and jump start the bike with the charger on the starter wire and might a little burp from the motor is all I get. And with the clutch in and in 1gear tryed to turn the back wheel and it's hard to turn the wheel?

In 1st gear with the clutch pulled in it will be hard to turn the wheel.Nature of the beast.

Do these starters have brushes? I'm guessing they do.I wouldnt think they are permanent magnet motors. Maybe it just needs brushes. If one brush is good and the other is bad it would make the starter incredibly weak. Or it could have more than two brushes.I really don't know,just throwing ideas out there. Good luck man

If you check cb750c.com there's a thread asking about brushes. They said there's 2 brushes. And they do wear down.

Do you have a car battery? Hook jumper cables to the car battery, car not running, and check the starter.
If it is still really slow, try this, connect the jumpers directly to the starter terminals somehow.
you know, connect 1 and then touch the other one and if is is still slow, you have a starter issue.
if it spins well, you have a wiring issue.

Re-runs on the right path here. A lot of times a battery charger will not be able to spin an engine over. I have had this happen to me before, and when I jumped from a battery it would crank over just fine.

Thanks everyone for the idea's . I read that because I was using long jumper cable I wouldn't be getting all the volts to the starter so I re-changed my bad battery the best I could and put it back in and hook it up and used the jumpercables to a  car battery and old battery and it turned over so I when and got a new gel-battery  and works great.  Only thing is it really hard to get it to start and keep running I just thinking it because it's cold blooded because when I have it warmed up and ride a bit it starts right on first push.
