Stator conversion to permenant magnet.

I have been looking at the Cycle X Charging System (see link below) which is a battery-less system. looking to eliminate a bunch of wiring and add to the look of my rat bike. The $450 is a big nut when considering the cost of the build was only $1,400 from getting the bike to being on street. Looks like I'll shave off a bunch of weight too, goodbye battery & starter. Is anyone running one of these systems?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The weight loss would be nice and less wiring. I would keep a battery though, but it could be reduced in size. Switch it to an agm battery for better life and versatility.

It is kinda pricy but they are about the only game making parts like this. They do good work though, at least from what I have heard. I have a set of their once over pistons and they look decent enough.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
