Struggle for parts

Reselee1
Hi, I'm new to this whole site and forums thing but anyways. I have a 1980 cb750c that's been sitting for years now. It's currently not in my hands so I have no access to pictures. What I have been told is that before it was parked it had an overheating problem, as far as I know all fluids are still in it so I'm thinking I'm going to need a lot of rebuild parts. I don't know much about motorcycles at all so I'm going to need all the help I can get. I'm looking for parts and have not been able to find many can you lead me in the correct direction.

The other thing is, is that I want to make a bobber out of it I found the tc bros universal kit. For that but is that the best route to go?

There are several sources for parts for that bike. ebay, vintagecb750.com, cb750.com, cycle-X, partzilla...
If you want to go hardtail, the best option is the weld-on hardtail section from cycleone manufacturing. "Overheating" Since it is aircooled, I wonder how they could tell it was overheating?
