Sync 4 carbs with a 2 carb synchronizer

Can I use my friend's 2 carb synchonizing (gauge type) tool to sync the four carbs on my '81 750k?

Separately synchronizing #1, #3 & #4 to #2?

Or do I have to do all 4 at the same time?

Yes that will work. Just takes a little longer.

It can work but you will probably pull your hair out doing it. See they all affect each other. So you could hook up to 1 & 2 and get them set, then 3 & 4 and then find out 1/2 are off. Just so you know. It is a pain.

Hmm, if I sync each one to #2 wouldn't they all be in sync?

That's an interesting experiment. After I sync them to #2, I'll sync them to each other and see what I see.

I'm starting to appreciate the ease and simplicity of tuning my Eldo more and more.
