Before the interwebs? We hung out at the local burger joint or each other's shops. Usually too late, but there weren't nowhere else to be anyway. We didn't have to get home and check our email.

I have an excellent welder. It's called a "TOOLS1". Works great and is cheap. My shocks haven't fell off yet and I ride my bike off pavement.

Yeah, unfortunately they don't have those on the east coast
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.
