I should introduce you to my wife -- she's the only person I know that can drink 2 cups of coffee after 10:00 at night, go to bed to read and fall asleep holding another cup [never spills, either!].

I once went to a wine tasting, started out with 3 one ounce sips of 3 cognacs, then tried 2 one ounce sips of 2 brandys, then tried ALL 75 wines they were sampling, one ounce sips each, no spitting! I drank them all! :)
Being half German has its advantages....oh, and I can drink 2-3 16 ounce coffees at midnight at our local cool coffee shop on a weekend night after drinking, then go to sleep in about 10 minutes. I fall asleep faster after soda or coffee than if I drank water. Weird.

ya, seems $1.59 at the local mini mart store is the going rate around here also.

Discovered something last year about coffee.
Brew it without a paper filter, and it's a whole different level of taste.
Had another automatic pot fail, and used one of those old ceramic
pots with the tube and strainer that has real small holes in a kinda cup.
You can see it percolate when it comes to a boil in a little glass window on the top lid.

Could not believe how better it is.
Donna asked what kind I wanted to replace the old one, told her forget it,
we're sticking with this one.
