If I have a little more time and space I would have to go look at http://youngstown.craigslist.org/mcy/3097976651.html

Simple if some one else can, why can't I

You gotta love wrenching on your bike if you buy that one.  No offense, but that vintage Norton was known for oil leaks, and mechanical 'needs'.  When the CB750 came out, in '69, it was a game changer because it didn't require wrenching every ride, no oil leaks, no tweaking required, on a routine basis.  One reviewer stated that the Honda was a boring bike, compared to everything else on the market, at that time, because it just worked.  Cheers!

I had a 66 BSA Lightning I completely rebuilt and made into a chopper, was a great ride. And yeah plan on tinkering here and there. I had a great time tearing that bike apart and rebuilding it from the ground up and learned a lot. Sold it to a young kid in town and I still see him riding it once and awhile.

I would not ride it like I do my 750. Just think it would be nice to finsh it for a joy ride and some thing to talk about. Kind of like the wifes route 66. We not get it out much be it gets alot of people talking.

It might not be the prefect bike for a daily rider, but DANG it looks like a lot of fun! Would make for a cool bike to tool around the swap meets on.
