Title for Barn Find

Professor_D
Anybody have any experience titling a found bike? We got this '81 CB750 from a farmer who had it stored in a barn. The restoration is coming along, but the farmer never could find the title—if he even had one to begin with.

Any suggestions on steps to get this bike legal? Is it possible? I'm afraid that getting a title may be more expensive than what we payed for the bike.

Thanks,
D

It varies from state to state.  Contact your local DMV office.  They will be able to tell you exactly what to do.  Cheers!

Their is a company that will get a title for you. itstitle.com . I have talked with people who have used them. They do what they claim.

I meant to mention that earlier—I'm in KY.
