Tool Kit for '82 CB750SC

JRHaggs
I can't seem to find a place to purchase a tool kit for my newly acquired sc.

I guess I'll try to reconstitute it by picking up the individual component tools. Can anyone tell me what the specific tools included are/were?

Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum. We just had a thread on here recently about this. Someone even posted a picture of the DOHC tool kit. Have, you looked on e-bay? I have seen them there.

Right. But to what extent do the different model years' tool kits differ? I have found plenty of kits for earlier models and later ones for example, but, if they were the all same kits, why would anyone be specifying the model year of them?

I just want to make sure I end up with the right stuff.

In the mean time, I'll try to find the pertinent forum thread.

Try this link to Bike Bandit's listing for the OEM tool kit:

http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1982-honda-night-hawk-750-cb750sc/o/m151771#sch9434

It's detailed enough for you to pick up the parts it contains, mostly.  If there is any part you need more info. on, ask.  They list the total cost at around $16, so putting it together should not break your bank (a couple of tank fill-up's?).  Cheers!
