I'm prepping my 79 CB750K engine for reassembly. All new main and rod bearings, new cam chains, new (well, new used) crankshaft, primary chain and tensioner, new std rings and pistons. I have learned from reading the both the FSM and Clymer manuals that thread lock is required on certain fasteners. However, there seems to be more mention of its use in the Clymer manual that the FSM. During disassembly, I noticed that most internal engine bolts appeared to secured with thread lock of some kind. Can anyone offer advice on the use of this stuff? I'm inclined to use thread lock on all internal engine fasteners. I've Threebond medium strength thread lock for this purpose.
