Walmart sells SOHC air filters!!

Well,kinda.

It was 72* and the sky was full of stars. Naturally,I was out riding,right? Wrong. I was in the garage getting the mower in to fighting shape for the upcoming fescue invasion...

Anyway,I made an interesting discovery. I got the blades sharpened,balanced and back on. Oil was changed. Everything greasable was greased. I just had to blow out the air filter.

Hmmm...that looks oddly familiar

Not a dead match,but extremely close! You kinda have to oblong it a bit to sit just right,but the height is spot on and it actually fit!

Obviously not a life changing discovery. Or a free performance discovery either. But if you are ever without an air filter on a weekend and reeeeally wanna go riding head on down to Wally World and pick up a Murray air filter. Part number 5052

They have nice little foam prefilters on them ,too.
