Wanted: Angle Grinder

Half-Caf
So, I've recently run into quite a few things that an angle grinder would really be nice for.
If you have one you don't use, or two on your hands, let me know if you'd like to sell or trade it.

I have a set of stock turn signals, some right hand controls, and a set of side covers if you're interested.

Do you have an air compressor?. Horrible Freight has a really nice pneumatic one for sale for $15. It has the small (5/8) arbor, but you can get discs for it regardless what people say. Check it out. I prefer a pneumatic grinder. You can modulate the wheel speed vs. just having an on-off switch. If you are not planning to use one a whole lot (shop duty) one of their electric models will probably last you a good long time. I think they are on sale now for around $20. DeWalt makes the best electric grinder I have ever owned,i have never owned a Porter Cable product that lived long enough to even get very dirty. JMO

I just bought a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder from Harbor Freight, for $14.00. I am planning on using it with grinding discs, and using my DeWalt with the sanding pads. I have all ready been grinding away with it, and have no complaints.

For the novice (happy homemaker) grinder user, the Harbor Freight grinders will be fine but if you do any serious grinding with them the gears the the head blow out fairly quickly. When it comes to these types of tools... you pretty much get what you pay for
