What is the best riding jacket?

  If you ride allot or practicaly live on bike like I have ,you will have to avoid an accedent sooner ,Mine were due to tired or drinking thinking was unbreakable
 From 05 to 08 I averaged 3K miles a month It's 750 miles from here to my house in Wisconsin did twice a month rain or shine ,never any problem or accedents also plenty of sleep staying in Motels was working and moving last of 08.I'm used of riding solo and enjoy it.But many love to keep me company

As of right now...IT IS COOL to have armor in your jacket!!!

Always wear boots that cover your ankles.

People with board-flat feet can't wear anything over the ankle, like boots.  I know, first hand.  Part of the risk I assume when I throw a leg over.  Cheers!

I am  guilty of riding in tennis shoes,too.I wear whatever my gout will allow that day.Though im sure that contact with the highway will surely cause a gout attack! I definitely like my armored jacket,though.Need to see about replacing the foam back pad with the CE approved spine armor.More $$$

If anyone is interested in better protection, without wearing boots, one option is to wear leather gators/spats.  I managed to score a pair of Swiss Army surplus, leather gators (no, really, I'm serious... ) off of Amazon.com, earlier this year.  Not the ideal, but if you want/need protection, and you plan on riding for more than a short trip, they may suit your needs.  Cheers!
