Wiring Diagram?

DiscardedFrog66
My buddy has an '80 CB750c and the wiring is basically gone. It's in such a disarray he has no spark, no lights and the ignition switch is bypassed. It was found like this after it was stolen. I need a good way to wire everything if i strip all the wiring off and start from scratch. What is the best way to wire it with the most minimum components required to crank the engine? we know the engine will crank and run.

You can get the Factory Service Manual from a link on the first page. That will tell you everything you need to know.

Anything that he doesn't want, or decides to wire different (such as grounds etc) you can find from the manual.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

It may be more expedient to get a used wiring harness for your bike, rather than try and rebuild what's there.  Re-wiring a bike can lead to weird problems as time goes on.

This guy sells schematics to simplified wiring harnesses for cheap.  Depending on your level of comfort with wiring, it might be an option: http://kingcustomcycles.com/technicalassistance.html

It's for a SOHC, but you could email him and ask if it'll work for the DOHC.
