Your opinion, what's Vintage?

AHRMA I believe states Vintage is 1974 and older.
Some say 20 years.
Talking to a guy last week, he kinda thought anything the factories stopped making parts for,
is the yardstick. That would be 10 years for a few.

Vintage. What the heck is Vintage, IYO?

With autos, I consider it pre-smog, which is basically 1973 and earlier. With bikes, the water is a little more muddy. Mid 80's seems about right.

I know AHRMA runs twin cam CB's in the Vintage Heavyweight class, so that's '79-'83. The CB900F's are pretty competitive with the right setup.

For me, just opinion, anything that was on the road before my girlfriend was born qualifies as vintage. A few things after as well.
So...anything Nov. '81 or older
