cafe tail sections?

A dude came by last week a and bought some parts..he brought these tail sections.he makes them.they are a sand casting,but he cleans them up real nice.he aslo makes the glass tail lights and the tail section is on a hinge that flips up so you can use the tail as a storage compartment..he plans on selling these for around $250..he let me try one on my bike(i tyred to score one for a trade but he wouldnt give it up)..here are some pics.what yall think?

I like the round taillight and the slots cut in it. Very cool piece! They could stand to be a bit wider,but I guess that all depends on the bike really. Getcha a couple of 'em

My tail section and seat assembly is home made. It's from a harley fuel tank.

Those are sweet! I like the art deco influence on two of the designs....I think I need to talk to this guy about the custom one I need made for my cafe. Would he be willing to put up his contact info?

If they were metal stampings they would cost a lot less.

It would be cheaper.If you could afford the stamping machinery. Sand casting is cheap. Just ask Honda circa 1969
