carbs

I need a little help, my 1980 k model and I are having a go around. I can't get it to run at all with the air box on it. I put pods on and it will start right up(don't idle very good) but will run down the highway without a issue, rode about 50 miles this evening on the highway at 70-75 miles a hour. The jets are the correct stock size, I don't see any blockage in the airbox anywhere. I want to put the stock box back on. I love the bike(especially for free). I have to keep it running now since I'm selling my suzuki to a young man this evening.

Help me out guys.

Okay, this is where I'm at. Airbox back on bike still does not idle correctly but the bike is running better. I think that I have a vacuum leak somewhere because the bike is still slow to come down to idle. I'll be checking for leaks the next day or so when possible.

Also, does anyone know where I can pickup the door for the air filter, I have lost mine somewhere. Or would it be just as easy to make one. I have it covered up right now with cardboard.
