cb900f carb and oil cooler question

Anonible
Trying to use a cb750 carb on a project cb900 and have swapped all internals except main nozzles. they appear to be slightly different, with the 900 main nozzles having more holes than the 750's. At 3/4 to full throttle there is a bog and doesnt seem to want to rev higher than 6k when in any gear. Revs nice and high when in neutral.

Are there replacement oil cooler hoses and or fittings anyone can suggest? seem to have quite a drip from one of the lines. Haven't dug into it too much yet.

Appreciate any insight, thanks.

If your engine runs fine in neutral, but not under load, you need to give it more fuel. Are you running the stock airbox or pods?

Stock airbox, paper filter and stock exhaust which has rusted through one exhaust. Carb intake from cb750 is about 1 mm narrower inside diameter. Also running cb750 main nozzles which have 4 less number on holes drilled in them. 2 of my cb900 main nozzles were too stripped to be extracted for use. Will order 2 new ones monday. I think they should riches up mixture under load. Will check for air leaks tomorrow.

Before tossing money at it, did you adjust your fuel screws to the recommended setting? Usually 1.5 turns but the manual says for sure. Out is richer, in is leaner.
