My wife's recipe website that I'm trying to help promote: Strawberries for supper. Yes, I am a lucky man.

Not the same bike, but you should check our Shinyribs "Hack Job" build thread. I think it is just what you are looking for.

All I can say is get your wallet out for that build.  welding will be a good chunk, those rims and rotors arent cheap.  Swing arm will set you back a few hundred.  those rear sets got to be around 250+.  Tires are easily 400.  Damn your into it for 3-4K  But it does look cool!

I eyed that bike up myself at one point. I personally liked the headlight design.
You can check out the discussion here. By the way, I ended going for a v-rod headlight which I really like -but dang, was it expensive..

Modern sport bike front ends have very little offset from the steering stem to the fork tubes as compared to these old CB''s. Notice how the header tubes look like they are fixing to eat the front tire? I'm having similar issues with a 78K I'm putting a '02 GSXR front end on. It's something to watch our for. I'm in the middle of researching what will work better and keep factory geometry more in line with stock suspension specs. With stock rake and the lesser amount of offset it produces a ton of trail= slow steering.  I'll post up when I find out something.
