frame question

oberly40
I would like to say first that this will sound stupid, so I would like to explain first. I bought a 1975 cb750 in parts and am rebuilding it completely. I am having some bumps along the way. So for the stupid question. Do the front pegs actually attach to the rear engine mount?

That is not a stupid question, and welcome to the forum. Yes they do attach to the lower rear engine mount.

To expand on Tools, there is a long bolt that goes through the engine, a frame tab on each side, then the footpeg ears.

Alright cool thanks. I was wondering because I was going to make my own pegs but wasn't real sure about how they attached.
