yeah thanks for the feedback.

i guess another good reason favouring to put on the original forks is to
also get rid of that ugly plastic fender and replace it with the original one,
which i also have.
i wish i could mount the original chrome fender on to these forks but the absence of
the bolt holes on the forks wont allow me to do this.......

Im restoring now my 72 honda cb750 and i have the same problem. i need to replace the fork tubes because its busted and leaking. can i use the fork tubes of the later models like 73 -76? would you recommend that i just replace the fork tubes or just get a used 73-76 fork tubes?
