OK so the bike is an import from the US, did I get that correct? If so, then it should be able to do well over 100. Only things I can think of would be that A: you might have clutch slip. What rpm are you in when the bike tops out? B: This ties to rpm also. The sprockets may have been changed which alters the ratio.
C: The carbs may be running too rich or lean preventing normal power generation.
