leaking fuel from carb bowls

hondarider
1980 750c  put seafoam in gas tank thinking the carbs had varnish in them. (quit running when it got hot.) Today, being beautiful, started bike, went in house, came out to see fuel on ground. after inspection bowls 3 & 4, had fuel flowing out(not dripping)of bottom. plugged them up and fuel overflows from #2 then #1. any help would be great. Thanks for the help. I have learned alot from this site.

Your floats likely have crap stuck in them preventing them from closing. I owuld shut off the fuel and drain the bowls into a gascan or metal cup since gas melts some plastics. A popbottle works though! I use one for when I have to sync my carbs!

Remove the bowls and remove the floats. This is easier with the carbs off but can be done with them one. Clean the float valves and the seats. Should be good then.
