looking to pick up some parts >> Input<<

shultz_1978
Good day everyone. I am looking to get a few things. One stock rear rim 18" the only place I have found it is E-bay.

A front brake master rebuild kit. Vintage is sold out for the 78.  Also a complete gasket kit for 78 build.

Anyone know where to get the needle and race bearings for the steering stem.

Thanks for any input

Try AllBallz for the bearings. Mine went in easy and are so smooth.

Since you got a sour face on e-bay, you might try
cheap cycle parts http://www.cheapcycleparts.com
Morocycle-superstore http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/
Z-1 enterprises http://www.z1enterprises.com/

I have had good dealings with all 3... For the steering stem bearings you want an "allballs" brand kit probably available from any of the above - http://www.allballsracing.com/

Can you get the master cylinder rebuild kit from Honda?  May be expensive to go the dealership route.

Thanks gentlemen

Called Buchanan spokes. Good thing The guy I spoke <<<<<haha to said it is not a good idea to put a rear rim on a front hub, As the spoke hole will not be right.

They have blank steel rims that they can punch to fit any hub you want. That look pretty close to the d.i.d factory rim.<smiley image="smiley_good.gif"/> Will be getting all stainless spokes and nipples, both front and rear.

I am going to have a small  fortune in my wheels and tires.

Ooch to the tone of like $510.00 to get 1 new 18 x 215 front rim punch out to fit a cb front hub, all 80 stainless spokes and nipples, Bead blasted and powder coated off white. Then 60 per wheel for lacing.

That will put a dent in the bike funds. Maybe I need to rethink this whole wheel set up. I have not even checked on the tires.

Shultz,I got the stock master cylinder off the Water Buffalo I'm not using. It's all polished up of course. If you don't like the drill marks on the lever that's cool. If you do I can set you up with the matching clutch lever. How about $25 for the m/c and $15 for the levers??? Hit me up if interested.

Oh,and thanks for the spokesI owe you some money actually.

Thanks for the offer Shiny. That would like good on the build but I have already cleaned and painted the one I have to match my color scheme for the bike.

Just need to find a rebuild kit for it.
