lowering center of gravity for 750 cb clasic

Ray
I want to lower the center of gravity for my bike. Can i do this by changing the seat to a thinner one. and if so what seat would fit .i also want to sit further back on the bike because i feel that i have to come over the peg uncomfortably to brake.i am considering having a foot break manufactured that would extend the brake pedal up and out almost like a car gas pedal.Any comments?

You have options on lowering. It depends on the amount of work you want to do.
Keep your seat but just take it to a place that will do motorcycle seats. Have them take out half the foam.
You can also get short shocks that are about 2 inches lower. Together you net about 3-4 inches.

Another option much more involved is konging your frame.
You basically hack the frame to lower the seat while leaving the suspension geometry untouched.

The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
