I will like to know how he was able to paint everything black? Including the headlight
Housing n the brackets.
I'm planning on using a can of VHT engine paint in flat black.
Any suggestions?

If you are painting over chrome you can get a can of stuff called adhesion promoter.Walmart used to sell it. Dont remember the brand name but it had a bulldog on the can. If you are not worried about scuffing up your chrome,a green scotch brite pad and some etching primer will do the trick.

He just cut the rear of the frame off behind the shock mounts, and then replaced the shocks with struts to lower the rear and make it a hardtail. You can see this in the picture of the rear of the bike.
