needle valve seat and gasket

alright, just got my needle valve gaskets in from Z1, only issue is i have no clue where exactly the gaskets are positioned, or how to remove the needle valve seat. any suggestions?

Just for reference, i have seen the seats that are slotted so they can be removed with a flat head i assume, but mine are flush with the casing and have no slot.

The seats on some were not replaceable or were pressed in.

which is unfortunate.

a guy at a local shop took a look at my other post and said that the valves may need to be shimmed? sound logical?

I think what he means by shimming is that these needles are not adjustable up and down. You cant go down any further but if you put thin washers just under the clip on top of the needle that will raise the needle and allow the bike to change when the mix becomes richer.
