Drove to my office this morning, no problem.
The Beast sat for 4 hours in the sunshine then . . . nada. First time turns over well but was hard starting; as it warmed lowered choke, eventually it stalled. On re-strat, turned over but would not catch. When it finally did catch full throttle only took it to 4000 rpm, as soon as I let go it stalled.
Gas in the tank, but just in case tried the reserve -- wouldn't catch at all. Gas "two weeks old".
Answers, anyone? Don't want to take it in, but also don't want to leave it at my office where it is unprotected.
And fwiw, it did something like this last year too; my mechanic looked at it and could find nothing wrong but played around and charged me for getting it started when it eventually did.
