Re: Pics of the bike I just put a deposit on….Pic Heavy…13 small pics. With funny captions.

I went to change those lines…the old ones were shot. They looked new on the outside, like usual, and the insides were spongy and starting to crack. It probably didn't help that the previous owner had 3/16" line forced over the 1/4" nipples. Then again, the 1/4 line doesn't fit all that tight. I'm glad I got those spring clamps now.

We have two kinds of antique tags, ones for cars have restrictions like "vehicle is only used in parades, shows, events" etc. and for motorcycles, it just means that if the bike is older than 35 years old we have the option of getting that tag. The DMV told me motorcycles are exempt from such restrictions. I hope they didn't lie! (They sometimes do that, instead of saying "I don't know, let me check and make sure".) You know how government is. I'll find out when I get pulled over just driving around, or not.

They put a decal on mine, so I guess it's not the same as those limited use plates after all.

The decal I thought you were talking about is the one that comes with our vehicle registrations here in Florida…it's got the expiration date of the tag on it (every year on your birthday) That decal is included in the price of the registration and must be on the tag, or you get a ticket.

We are issued two decals when registering any vehicle. One is the month you register it in and the other is the year. Both decals go on the tag, front and rear. Also there is a state inspection sticker on the windshield(bike-forks)with the same.UNLESS you are registered as an antique, which makes you tax exempt, therefore no decals or annual inspection required or issued.Just dont get caught daily driving on antique tags/no decals in your daily driver.

I put about 8-10,000 miles a year on my Impala with no decals....shhhh

Trying to make me spend moneyI'm still saving up to get that picture from you oneday. Of course,I should be freeing up a lot of finances here shortly. I'm thinking of retiring the race car.Still undecided. Just need to focus on more important thing right now. Side note: having to be a responsible adult sucks
