Question, will the stator and rotor from a 71 cb500 work on a 72 cb750? Does anyone know?

Difficult to say. Thinking logically, if the engines have different operating RPM ranges, the alternator would probably be designed to output in different proportions for each bike. Not sure about fitment though. I'm sure one of the more experienced guys will pop on here and give you a solid answer better than I can. Good luck though.

They have different part numbers, so I doubt it. However if, you have them, try them.
