Hello all, after close inspection I see that both cam chain tensioners and guides have cracks on the rubber portion of the assembly. I looked at prices for these and they will bury me. I have a 1980 cb750c. Any body have these? Ebay wasn't much help. Im sure I could just use these existing parts, but for how long.

There may be no way to tell. I guess it depends on the cracks. I dont know if I would do it though. Maybe post this in the parts section and someone might have a part for you. If you have a bike boneyard in your area, contact them. Otherwise, scrounge the parts sources here. Might be something that will work for somewhat cheap.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
