Yes, those were made before my time there. I worked there only a couple of years, Tracy was in deep financial trouble with the IRS and couldn't make payroll or pay the vendors. It's a shame too, we had over a year's worth of backorders but couldn't function without materials.

On the last day, I showed up for work while a deputy was wrapping a chain around the front doors. He told me the assets had been seized by the courts. I hauled ass around back and grabbed a few fairings and other things that could be sold, Tracy owed me over $2000 in back wages at that point so I felt justified in taking some severance pay.

I enjoyed working in a motorcycle related shop but learned a valuable life lesson: Don't work for free.

This forum is amazing.

A question is posted about a body kit and the chief designer of the body kits from back in the 70's starts answering questions.

Then the guy who owned one of the bikes in the promo shoot shows up and starts posting.  I'm just happy to see this discussion taking place.

Thats what i was wondering, too. One thing is for sure, those pipes definitely dont block you from getting to the oil filter. Lower it a few inches and that bike would be killer

It has a front end from a '78 CB750F and a 77 rear wheel, still playing with it, what do you think of the Dual Sport tires ??

I just bought a 71 CB750 with the early model FBwerks body and 1 week later bought a early model body only. I'm pretty happy with these finds. Wil b a winter project here n Bama. The bike with body was built by a man I went to high school with. Even has Built by ------ n custom paint job and 836cc/Web cam.I always admired this bike and ran across it thru a friend who had bought a Kow dragbike from a local barn find.Really pumped
