turn signals

Still plugging along on my 75 rebuild. Installing front turn signals and had bought some spares for the
lenses. The ones I took off this bike have one wire coming out. The spares I bought for parts have 2
wires coming out. The signals look the same. Were the 2 wire signals off new bikes. Bike Bandit
shows just one wire for my 75,

The second wire should be a ground. Most aftermarket turn signals need a wired ground, because they are made with plastic.

Thanks Tools, but these aren't aftermarket. All wires are black, One set of signals has the one black wire,
the other set I bought has 2 black wires coming out. I am wondering if somone used the rears which have two wires and put them on a set of front stems. I'll use the one wire ones since that's what bike bandit shows for my year.

Do the two wire lights have dual element bulbs? Maybe they are wired for both turn signals and running lights, rather than just having an extra ground.

I used double elliments on mine the winker wire was there already ,On a F2 there's a brown wire that just dead ends there(stock normal) but is a single male plug I put A double end on it and used for running lights up front,Now some after market lightsL.E.D.'s get way to hot for running lights in those plastic housing's.
