where all the technical people here?

Well on the sohc I do pretty good. I do all my work and would trust my bike across the country.
Woodsrider250 knows his stuff.
Vern and wvhardtail and polymer are good guys. Polymer has good dohc info. And so does mikey440.
Our main issue is that we are small yet.
I encourage everyone to post their experiences. The more input we have, the richer we all become.
There are so many possible issues that can be experienced that no one person can do it all.

Yeah, i've been trying to do my part to help out where i can.   i know my way around bikes, but this is my first cb750, so there are things i really don't know about.. i'm used to working on suzukis.

for what it's worth, i have the sohc in a 78 cb750K..  last year they made sohc so i hear..

anyway, so far i enjoy the forum, everyone seems cool, and thanks for the list...  i'll look around for them!

I've had a lot of bikes as well. I am mainly a Harley guy (please don't hate). But I love ALL bikes. This is my first CB750 and like most of us I am learning as I go. I took auto mechanics in high school and do all of my own work. My best friend is also a world class mechanic so that helps.

kinda stumped at this point... there's a lot of info there surrounding a seemingly very simple problem that's been going on for about a month now...  i'd definitely appreciate the feedback on it.
