If, you run 12 volts to the black/white wire at the coils it should run. This is how, you would hotwire one of these bikes.

Download the Factory Service Manual (FSM) from the home page.  It will have wiring diagrams within it, showing the color codes.  Otherwise, pick up a used Clymer manual for your bike's year, and it will have wiring diagrams, as well.  Cheers!
